Minister gives hope to national parks - National Parks Association of Queensland

Over 100 people attended the NPAQ-hosted event last night at the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens Auditorium, which saw presentations on current issues affecting national parks and the State Government’s strategy for acquiring new protected areas. Topics covered included tourism in parks, horse-riding, grazing, new park infrastructure proposals, recent national park acquisitions and the role that refugia will play in the future.

NPAQ is very grateful for the Ministers attendance and for the detailed and professional presentations provided by QPWS and DEHP staff.
