Eagleby Wetlands consists of lagoons and bushland bordered by Olivers Sports Complex, Albert River, and the Sewage Treatment Plant. With the recent rain, hopefully, the lagoons will have water. Paths are well constructed and flat. This area is a very good birding area.
Directions: From the north heading south on the Pacific Motorway(M1) exit at Junction 34 and take the second exit at the roundabout (Saverin Rd). Follow Saverin Rd into Logan Street, through the traffic lights continuing on Logan Street about 1.5km turning left into Olivers Sports Complex. Bring: – Hat, sunglasses, sunburn cream, personal first aid kit, enclosed shoes, binoculars, camera, chair, insect repellent, soap, hand sanitizer, face mask, wet weather gear, morning tea, lunch, and any other necessary personal items.
