Community engagement & connection
Encourage kids and community members to connect with national parks through assisting with our Junior Ranger, Cadet Ranger and Parks Connect programs and events (requires blue card).
National Park Care & connection
Put your hand up to be a Volunteer Ranger in SEQ parks at our Parks Connect Park of the Month events. You can help supervise sessions and share your natural history knowledge and outdoors skills with participants. (Long term availability is required.)
Recreational activities
Help NPAQ plan, host or help with regular bushwalks, camps, and other outdoor events. Note that some of these activities may require a blue card, but NPAQ might be able to hep you apply for one.
CoNservation activities
Help organise, host or promote citizen science projects or community conservation projects such as bioblitzes, weed removal or bush regeneration (may require blue card).
Education
Help children and teens learn more about protected areas with our Parks Connect programs. We are currently seeking assistants to help with Junior Ranger and Cadet Ranger events (requires blue card).
Publicity & Promotion
Are you a writer, photographer, influencer, blogger or business owner? Can you help promote our organisation’s goals and programs by photographing, writing about, or sharing our new programs over your social media?
