SMALL ACTIONS CAN HAVE BIG OUTCOMES …
That’s why the National Parks Association of Queensland has been sowing the seeds of ideas that will help our national parks flourish – now and in the future. But more must be done.
All over the state, protected areas need more funding, more rangers, better weed and pest control, better visitor management, and more adjacent corridors of green space. Our regulatory agencies also need stronger solutions, guided by scientific evidence and best practice.
To help decision-makers solve the problems blighting our national parks, NPAQ has collaborated with state-based national park and ranger associations, ecotourism and conservation alliances, and esteemed academics to undertake research. We know solid, evidence-based reports influence decisions, but we urgently need operating costs to publish, print and promote our findings and to equip our advocates with the skills to persuasively share these ideas with powerbrokers in person.
WITH YOUR HELP, IDEAS CAN GROW INTO FORESTS OF CONSENSUS!
Just as native plants need help to disperse their seeds far and wide, we need your donations to help us disseminate the evidence that better park management isn’t optional.
