WE BELIEVE FORESTS SHOULD BE FOREVER …

Queensland’s state forests are sanctuaries for precious wildlife and fragile ecosystems. Unlike national parks, they face threats from logging, grazing, mining and development. With South East Queensland’s population set to grow by 2 million by 2046, we urgently need these forests converted into protected areas—safe havens for nature and spaces to reconnect with the wild. But we need your help to make it happen.

Since 1930, the National Parks Association of Queensland (NPAQ) has fought tirelessly for conservation, securing over 60% of Queensland’s national parks, including the breathtaking Lamington, Girraween, and D’Aguilar National Parks. In 1999, we helped set in motion the end of native forest logging in South East Queensland. Now, we’re pushing for the Queensland Future Timber Plan to include conservation voices, and for state forests to become protected areas, like the former government’s proposed 54,000-ha Greater Glider National Park.

Don’t let this End of Financial Year signify the end of these important forestry agreements. Your donation today will help protect Queensland’s beautiful, lush state forests—not just for now, but forever.
