Birdwatching – 2024-01-14 Bribie Island
We will meet adjacent to 52 Bibimulya Street, Bellara. to walk around Bibimulya Wetlands UBD map 52 Q 10
Directions: – After coming off the Bribie Bridge take the second exit into Eucalypt St at the first roundabout. Turn into Bibimulya Street, the second street on the right. UBD Map 52 Q 11.
The nearest toilets are on Sylvan Beach Esplanade. UBD Map P 13. Turn sharp left at the Bribie end of the bridge.
Following our walk around the wetlands we will drive further north to the car park opposite 20 Solander Esplanade, Banksia Beach. UBD Map 52 J4. Here we will use the bird hide to view wader birds on Kakadu Beach.
Bring: – Hat, sunglasses, sunburn cream, personal first aid kit, enclosed shoes, binoculars, camera, chair, insect repellent, soap, hand sanitizer, face mask, wet weather gear, morning tea, lunch, and any other necessary personal items.
