Birdwatching – 2025-01-19 Bribie Island

We will meet adjacent to 52 Bibimulya Street, Bellara to walk around Bibimulya Wetlands UBD map 52 Q10.

Directions:  After coming off the Bribie Island bridge, take the second exit into Eucalypt Street at the first roundabout.  Turn into Bibimulya Street, the second street on the right.  UBD may 52 Q11.

The nearest toilets are on Sylvan Beach Esplanade, UBD  Map P13.  Turn sharp left at the Bribie end of the bridge.

Following our walk around the wetlands we will drive further north to the car park opposite 20 Solander Esplanade, Banksia Beach, UBD May 52 J4.  We will use the bird hide to view wader birds on Kakadu Beach.

Bring: Hat, sunburn cream, personal first aid kit, enclosed shoes, binoculars & telescope (if you have one), camera, chair, insect repellant, morning tea & lunch.
