Enoggera Reservoir was the oldest water storage and first major dam built in Brisbane in 1866 storing water for Brisbane’s growing population. It is not currently used as a drinking water source but a variety of water sports including kayaking, stand up paddling, canoeing, and fishing are promoted on and around the dam. A number of walking tracks surround the dam and we will follow the Aracaria Track which passes close to the waters edge. Some gentle hills and steps form part of this track.
