Birdwatching 2026-04-19 Minnippi Parklands, Tingalpa

Minnippi Parklands has extensive meadows with a looped hiking trail around a lagoon and a birdwatching deck.

Directions: Travelling east on Wynnum Road, 1.9 km past Creek Road and before the Gateway Motorway Bridge, turn right into Greystone Road. If exiting from the Gateway Motorway at Exit 100, turn west toward the city onto Wynnum Road, 180 metres from the Motorway Bridge on your left is Greystone Road, Tingalpa. (UBD map 162 B 13). Follow Greystone Road, which becomes Stanton Road for 1.3 km to Porter’s Paddock carpark. Drive to the end of the road, which is a carpark. (162 B 16).

Meet at: 07:30 am

Bring: Hat, sunburn cream, insect repellent, binoculars, personal first aid kit, enclosed shoes and morning tea. Add lunch if you plan to stay to enjoy the environment.
