How to get involved

The Volunteer Ranger program trains and supports adult Queenslanders, equipping them with the relevant skills to engage with visitors and perform day-to-day activities that help our national parks thrive.

We’ll provide the uniform and you’ll provide the enthusiasm, as you set about maintaining trails, managing visitor expectations, taking guided tours, and ensuring amenities and campsites are well maintained.

Parks Connect is proudly supported through funding from the Queensland Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation.Â
