BIRDWATCHING – 2025 – Sandy Camp Road Wetlands Reserve, Lytton. – 23 Nov.

Bird walk cancelled due to torrential rain.

A pleasant morning was spent at Elanora Park where shelter was ensured with the help of a tarp provided by our local handyman.

The diversity of vegetation in this parkland including woodland, lagoons and open grassland provides an opportunity for a wide variety of birds to frequent this area.  Flat constructed pathways meander through the site.

Following this walk, we will travel to Elanora Park, 22 Saunders Place, Wynnum North UBD map 143 G14, for a Christmas morning tea.  And afterwards inspect the Wynnum Mangrove Boardwalk.

Bring:   hat, sunburn cream, personal first aid kit, enclosed shoes, binoculars, camera, chair, insect repellant, hand sanitiser, morning tea to share
