With dual bachelor’s degrees in marine science and journalism/communications, Samantha has specialised in science communication, bridging complex scientific concepts with public comprehension. Samantha has spent over five years enhancing the outreach of not-for-profits through strategic communication and her experience includes guest lecturing at Griffith University, editing for state and national publications, and supporting community engagement for Biosecurity Queensland’s white spot disease response. Samantha has a proven track record in simplifying complex scientific data into engaging infographics and hosting impactful domestic and international events both online and in person, demonstrating a commitment to making science accessible and engaging to a wide audience.
