We’re Passionate About Parks
NPAQ advocates for the protection, expansion, effective management and presentation of national parks. We celebrate getting kids out into our parks and reserves, and we operate Junior Ranger school holiday programs in collaboration with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) gateway visitor centres – David Fleay Wildlife Park and Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre, as well offering NPAQ bushwalking, outdoor recreation and volunteer campground host activity programs, and opportunities to participate in community conservation and Citizen Science projects. We support the development and application of scientific and professional knowledge in advancing national parks, protected areas and nature conservation.

Inititally, Parks Connect Junior Rangers events will run over the school holidays at two Gateway Visitor Centres:
More exciting Parks Connect programs are set to follow later in 2025.
