About the program
The Parks Connect Volunteer Ranger program is a collaborative effort of NPAQ and the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and is designed to help train and support adult Queenslanders and equip them with the relevant skills to engage with visitors and perform day-to-day activities that help our National Parks thrive.
We provide the uniform, and you provide the enthusiasm, as you set about managing visitor expectations, helping with guided tours, and ensuring amenities and campsites are well-maintained.
Thanks to all those who have applied for our Volunteer Ranger program. We will let you know when our next intake opens.
Parks Connect is proudly supported through funding from the Queensland Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation.
