17 members attended NPAQ first outing to Axis Place section of Dan Stiller Reserve, Larapinta. We were fortunate to have a fine, clear, sunny, although very humid morning after overnight rain in some areas of Brisbane. Surprisingly, the track was in good condition after recent unseasonal March rain. Bird activity in this section of Dan Stiller Reserve is quieter than the Forestdale section of Dan Stiller Reserve with only 26 species seen and 4 heard.
