Birdwatching 2023-03-19 Harding’s Paddock, Goolman

Harding’s Paddock is part of the extensive Flinders – Goolman Conservation Estate administered by the Ipswich City Council. Babblers, Rose Robins and other interesting bush birds can be seen in the area.

Directions:

Exit the Cunningham Hwy at Yamanto onto the Ipswich Boonah Road. (UBD Map 232 N18). From this intersection travel south towards Boonah for 5.7 klms. Turn left into Carmichaels Road (Map 252 P20). Follow Carmichaels Rd for 4.3 klms to the picnic area. The Picnic ground is not shown in the UBD. Co-ordinates 27.734610, 152.767508

Bring: Hat, fly net, sunglasses, sunburn cream, personal first aid kit, enclosed shoes, binoculars, camera, chair, insect repellent, soap, hand sanitizer, face mask, morning tea, lunch, and any other necessary personal items.
