BIRDWATCHING – MOGGILL CONSERVATION PARK

Description: This southern side of Moggill Conservation Park is a quiet area with varying vegetation that should offer good birding. There are graded bush tracks, some a little hilly but not difficult.

Directions: Take the Moggill Road west from “Western Freeway M5” (UBD 178 E6) for approximately 9.8 klms. Turn right into Mt Crosby Rd (UBD 196 J3) and travel for approximately 4 klms and turn right into Chalcot Road. A carpark is 80 meters on the left (UBD 175 L20). There are no toilets at this location.

For Morning tea we will go back 1.2 klms to Anstead Bushland Park in Hawkesbury Rd (UBD 195 N4).

This activity will be conducted in keeping with current Covid-19 health department guidelines regarding social distancing and good hygiene practices. Be aware that, if you are over 70 (over 50 for people of indigenous background), and/or have co-morbidities, you are at greater risk of Covid-19.”
