NPAQ/Parks Connect Media Consent Terms & Conditions

For events held in a public place, NPAQ and Parks Connect reserve the right to photograph participants, staff and volunteers for use in promoting Parks Connect and its partner QPWS, both online and in print. Only Parks Connect team members who hold Blue Cards and have been inducted in child safety are permitted to photograph children, and only on approved devices. Photographs are then checked by another trained team member to ensure they comply with child safety policies and procedures, and are stored on a secure server. Note that the attendees’ names are never shared online or in print without permission.

  1. Copyright and Moral Rights of the photographic stills or video (herein referred to as ‘Images’) belongs to the photographer who captured the Images (herein known as ‘The Photographer’).

  2. I hereby give permission for The Photographer and his/her Agents and Assigns to license Images of me or which include me to National Parks Association of Queensland Inc (herein referred to as ’NPAQ’) and funding partners without payment to me by any party. The Images may be altered, combined with other Images, published or displayed in any media and with any copy or text for any purpose – including, among others, for advertising, marketing, promotional, educational or editorial usage – worldwide without restriction and in perpetuity.

  3. I hereby release both NPAQ and The Photographer (and his/her Agents and Assigns) from all claims and liability relating to the use of the said images and agree that I have no further right to any additional fees or consideration.

  4. I warrant that if I am under 18 years of age my Parent/Guardian’s signature will be required.

  5. I have read the above release prior to its execution, and I am fully familiar with its contents.

If you would prefer you/your child were not photographed, please email admin@npaq.org.au at least 24 hours before the event starts. Please also remind staff on the day. You/your child will be given a wristband to wear on the day to avoid images being taken, and any identifying group images of you/your child will be deleted.
