BIRDWATCHING 2023-05-21 EAGLEBY WETLANDS

Eagleby Wetlands consists of lagoons and bushland bordered by Olivers Sports Complex, Albert River, and the Sewage Treatment Plant. With the recent rain, hopefully, the lagoons will have water. Paths are well constructed and flat. This area is a very good for birding.

Directions: From the north heading south on the Pacific Motorway(M1) exit at Junction 34. UBD Map 264 B14

Do not exit into River Hills Rd, continue straight ahead.

Take the second exit at the roundabout (Saverin Rd). Map 264 E16

Follow Saverin Rd, turn left into Logan Street, continue straight through the traffic lights on Logan Street and about 1.5km turn left into Olivers Sports Complex.  After 200m turn right and right again into the car park. Map 264 P18.

Bring: Hat, sunglasses, sunburn cream, personal first aid kit, enclosed shoes, binoculars, camera, chair, insect repellent, soap, hand sanitizer, face mask, morning tea, lunch, and any other necessary personal items.
