Eagleby Wetlands consists of lagoons and bushland bordered by Olivers Sports Complex, Albert River, and the Sewage Treatment Plant. With the recent rain, hopefully, the lagoons will have water. Paths are well constructed and flat. This area is a very good birding area.

Directions: From the north heading south on the Pacific Motorway(M1) exit at Junction 34 and take the second exit at the roundabout (Saverin Rd).  Follow Saverin Rd into Logan Street, through the traffic lights continuing on Logan Street about 1.5km turning left into Olivers Sports Complex.  After 200m turn right and right again into the car park. 27°42’28.4″S 153°13’35.8″E

Bring: Hat, sunglasses, sunburn cream, personal first aid kit, enclosed shoes, binoculars, camera, chair, insect repellent, soap, hand sanitizer, face mask, morning tea, lunch, and any other necessary personal items.

This activity will be conducted in keeping with health department Covid-19 directions regarding social distancing, good hygiene practices and group size in force for the venue/area at the time of the activity. It may be necessary for the leader to make changes to the activity, the number of participants or the venue in keeping with these directions.

Please do not attend this activity if you are feeling unwell on the day, or may have had contact with COVID-19 in the 21 days prior to the activity.
