The Crimson Rosella is commonly found in tall eucalypt and wetter rainforests in Queensland. Their main diet consists of seeds, grasses, shrubs and blossoms and they can easily be attracted to garden seed trays. Baby Crimson Rosella are actually olive in colour with their characteristic blue cheeks and develop their adult red plumage after about a year and a half.
