Kangaroos can be found throughout eastern Australia, where they live in mobs of 50+ animals. Red kangaroos are the world’s tallest marsupials, reaching 2m tall, and can travel at speeds of 50km/h. Roos are herbivores that mainly eat grasses, although they will also browse on shrubs if there is a shortage of food. IUCN status: Least concern
