Australia is home to many species of shark but perhaps one of the most iconic is the Great White Shark. Great White’s can grow to 6m long (half a bus length) and swim up to 60km/h. They have up to 300 teeth in their mouth at any time and are constantly growing new teeth to replace ones that are lost/fall out. Although there are a few rare attacks on humans, Great White’s don’t hunt humans, they mainly hunt seals and small whales.
