Sulfur-crested Cockatoo are large birds found in woodland habitats throughout Australia. In some parts of Australia they are so numerous that they can sometimes be considered a pest as they cause damage to crops, timber (furniture and house structures) and also compete with Glossy-black Cockatoo’s for food and habitat. Cockatoo’s are very intelligent and long lived (70yrs+) and have been domesticated as pets around the world.
