Some red-eyed tree-frogs are found in America, but their Australian cousins (Litoria chloris) inhabit the east coast of Australia. The Australian red-eyed tree-frog is slightly less vibrant (lacking the distinctive blue colouration), but both are carnivorous and eat insects as tadpoles and adults. IUCN status: Least concern
